The Saluda Shoals Wetland Preserve is a tranquil sanctuary whose quiet waters and surrounding woodlands are home to many species of birds, animals, and plants native to wetlands. Located along the banks of the Saluda River, this 350-acre park offers a number of amenities for guests to enjoy.  

Experience the peaceful beauty of the preserve with miles of paved and unpaved trails, a river observation deck, picnic shelters, two playgrounds, and water access for boat, canoe, and kayak use. 

The park also provides a variety of meeting spaces to accommodate any occasion, including an environmental education center, exhibit hall, auditorium, conference facility, and classrooms.
