Columbia College Fighting Koalas
Built inside the Godbold Center in 1971, Porter Gymnasium was named in memory of Julia Inabinet Porter. The Gymnasium hosts both Columbia College Basketball and Volleyball teams in the Fall and Winter seasons. In addition to Porter Gymnasium, the Godbold Center contains the Athletic Department Offices, Greer Natatorium, Fitness Center, and Athletic Training Room.
The Sutton Softball Complex, named in honor of Jack and Maggie Sutton, was completed in 2008 in partnership with the City of Columbia and is home to the Columbia College Softball Team. The field has been continually updated including a new scoreboard in 2016. The Sutton Softball field is located adjacent to the Younts Soccer Stadium and the Leonard Price Pavillion to complete the Columbia College athletic fields.
The Younts Stadium was made possible by Melvin and Dollie Younts. Dollie Younts, and their daughter, Kerry Younts Culp, both attended Columbia College. Completed in 2003, the field is home to the Columbia College soccer and lacrosse teams.
In the summer of 2008, the field was renovated with new bleachers, a pressbox, and ticket booth.
